Before beginning my job at the Brown Memorial Library, I was already an avid reader; but I am now even more so. & with Valentine's coming up, I felt it was appropriate to share with you some of my favorite Literary Couples.

1. Ron Weasley & Hermione Granger
I might be a little bias, as this is my favorite series; however, I loved watching the story unfold throughout the seven-novel series. Ron first sees Hermione as this annoying little know-it-all, but then throughout the rest of the series, you see their friendship starting to bloom and then you see their feelings starting to bud. It's just a beautiful and classic love story.

2. Amy Cahill & Jake Rosenbloom
The couple from the 39 clues series : Cahill vs. Vespers
After battling the trails of the Vespers, you can't blame Amy Cahill for falling in love with Jake Rosenbloom. Throughout the six books you watch their love for each other bloom. In the beginning however, Amy tries to fight her feelings, but ultimately gives in. Jake is sweet, talented and honestly reminds me a lot of her father... Cunning... intelligent... architect... cultural. All things that Amy herself loves.

3. King Ben and Mal
The courageous Prince who was promoted to King and made his first decree to allow the Children from the Lost to live freely among the Auradon people. Ben fell in love with Mal, the daughter of Maleficent, after Mal moved from the Isle of the Lost. She might be Ben's "Bad girl infatuation" but Mal proved countless times that she would protect the Isle, which won her a lot of favor with the King & Queen and the Auradon people.

4. Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood
They are sooooo different, but yet I can't help but fall in love with this Match. Alec is so innocent and you can see that Magnus's love and affection scares the dickens out of him; however he still wants to be with him. Magnus is intimidates by Alec, but still wants to get to know him and care & love him. They give up so much for each other, that its part of what makes them great!

5. Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase
I fell in love with Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase back in 2007. I love Mythology, and a Professor suggested I might like Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. I read it and I was hooked. Within a few short months the second book was out, and I had begun to fall in love with the wittiness of Annabeth and Percy. To me their relationship was more lifelike and real than any other that I had read about. They were always ragging on each other, making fun of each other, picking stupid fights and having real dates. (other than fighting battles.. lol)
I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did! Be on the look out next week for the next installment of T5F
